Offers I've done through Swagbucks and helpful tips.

January 24, 2018

The number one question I get about Swagbucks: "What offers do you do? How do you make so much money? I'm lost!"

For a quick rundown on Swagbucks in general, check out my other blog post about here how I paid for our Disney vacation with Swagbucks.

Here is a chart of the offers I completed, the amount of money I spent (if any) v.s. the amount of money I made.  Swagbucks changes the amount that they payout from time to time, so when you search for these offers they may be a little more or a little less than what I have listed.

To make your Swagbucks experience a little easier, here are some tips I left out of my original blog post:

1. Create an email address exclusively for Swagbucks only.

When I first started Swagbucks I used my everyday email address.  What a mistake that was! My email was quickly flooded with spam and so much junk that I was losing track of my important emails in the jumble.  Do  yourself a favor and use a new email from the start!

2. Create a new phone number with Google Voice to avoid telemarketing calls.

Just like the emails, telemarketing calls will also start flooding your phone.  I can't count the number of times I have blocked unwanted numbers on my phone.  Avoid the hassle -- get a Google Voice number!

3. Keep a list of your offers completed, amount they should pay, and the dates they should credit.

Not all offers credit instantly.  In fact, most take about 30 days to credit.  Most of the time offers will credit without a problem but on occasion you will have to submit a ticket to the help center.

I have a running list of the offers I completed, Swagbucks to be awarded, and dates the offers should credit.  I can't tell you how many times this has saved me.  I feel like I know the people working at the help center on a first name basis these days!

Always respond to the automatic emails when you submit a ticket.

Once you submit a ticket you will instantly get a confirmation email.  They will ask for screenshots for proof of purchase. For example I donated to Child Fund & the offer didn't credit after 30 days.  I had to send them proof of donation so I took a screenshot of the transaction from my bank account.

Tickets seem to be answered more quickly if you respond to that initial email.  Even if you have given all the requested information in your original ticket, resend it to that email again!
